Take your time. A clean surface, firm pressure, and a slow peel give the decal the best transfer.
IMPORTANT FOR NAME DECALS
PRESS EVERY LETTER BEFORE PEELING
Name decals are made of separate individual letters. Before peeling the backing, firmly rub and press across every letter through the clear transfer film for several seconds so the full name lifts together.
If a letter stays on the backing: stop peeling, lay the clear film back down, press that letter firmly again, then continue peeling slowly.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT AREA
Apply to a smooth, clean, relatively flat surface. Avoid mesh, knit, deep texture, sharp ridges, and highly flexible areas.
CLEAN & FULLY DRY
Remove dirt first, then clean away oils and residue. Make sure the application area is completely dry before continuing.
PRESS BEFORE PEELING
With the decal still between the clear transfer film and backing, firmly rub across the entire design for several seconds.
PEEL THE BACKING SLOWLY
Peel the backing away slowly at a low angle. If any part stays behind, stop, lay the film back down, press that area again, and continue slowly.
POSITION & PRESS
Carefully place the decal, then press firmly across the full design from the center outward. Avoid repositioning once the adhesive touches the shoe.
REMOVE THE CLEAR FILM
Rub the design firmly once more, then peel the clear transfer film back slowly at a low angle. If an edge lifts, lay the film back down and press again.
